Sunday the 16th was my one year anniversary with my boyfriend. It seems crazy that we have been together that long. Really seems like longer. So to get him something really cool, I decided to make him a whiskey bouquet. There are some amazing tutorials running around Pinterest (oh Pinterest), just search for man bouquet or whiskey bouquet.
You start with a vase, pot or large jar of some sort to fill. I used a clay pot I had already. I painted it green instead of purple. I added his initials in gold along with dry brushing gold on the pot itself. Then just grab the little bottles/treats that will be your 'flowers'. I used hot glue to stick them to candy sticks. You can use any long stick you can find. The candy ones were long enough that the bottle would be secure without stilling out so far. Inside the pot is half of a floral foam ball that I trimmed. Ideally, take the pot you are going to use to the store to fit it in. They are a mess when you cut them dry. Then add some fill and stick the sticks in the ball. Thats it. Super easy and quick to do. And the best part is my guy loves when I craft for him. So he gets two of his favorite things, crafts and whiskey for and Old Fashion.
If it were you man, what gifts would you put in the vase? Tell me below!
